WEEK 1 - A great start to the competition for WHPC. 2 x wins (Tigers & Pointers) and a narrow loss (Shooters). Special congratulations go to the WHPC Pointers who achieved a rare and memorable win with a very healthy points difference in Brecon (on St Georges Day!!). Onwards and upwards!

Summer League Round 1 - Match Report

Wednesday 23rd April saw the start of the Marches League Summer competition, when the WHPC Tigers were at home to Wilton Bridge. At the request of our opponents the match started at the earlier than usual time of 7.00pm, but it has to be said Tigers did not get off to an early start in their Triples games. Wilton Bridge took a lead in both but our team found their form and came back strongly, to take one win 13 -9 and just failing to clinch the other, sadly losing 12 -13

The Pairs were somewhat similar, although the tables were turned when we won one game 13 – 12, which probably made Chris feel better, and the other 13 – 8.

That left the Singles, which were a more comfortable affair, Tigers winning both games, 13 – 5 and 13 – 2 respectively.

So a good start to the Summer, with a 5 – 1 win for the Tigers.
